Join us for episode 20 of the Theme Park Trader podcast!
We can't believe it, our 20th episode already! Thanks so much for all of you that continue to listen to us, we really appreciate it! To celebrate we recorded our longest podcast to date and also discussed our top 3 and worst 3 attractions at my (Ryan's) favourite park, Epcot!
This week we kick things off by discussing the reopening of beaches at Walt Disney World following on from the tragic alligator attack that occurred. We chat through the new rules that Disney are putting in place on the beaches and what our thoughts on these new rules are.
Dan and I then discuss two Universal Studios stories with the first one in Hollywood and confirmation that they will be expanding once again over a period of 5 years. We chat about what they could do with the space and what attractions are most likely. We then chat through the first details of Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando and the confirmed list of attractions set to open in 2017.
Frozen Ever After had to be discussed this week and Dan and I do just that by talking through some of the great animatronics in play as well as the five hour wait time that happened on opening day! With that came more information that the Mexican Pavilion at Epcot would also be opening at 9am (on top of the Norwegian Pavilion) and we chat through the new Breakfast offering at La Cantina de San Angel.
Contining on from the trend last week, Dan and I end this podcast by discussing our favourite and least favourite attractions at Epcot.

This week Dan and I start the podcast by paying our respects to the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando before also discussing the tragic attack by a alligator in Walt Disney World and discussing changes that Walt Disney World are making to combat both of these events.
We then push forwards with the news by talking about the opening of Soarin Around the World and Shanghai Disneyland before discussing a brand new logo for the Universal Orlando Resort.
We wanted to end this week's podcast on a high so Dan and I decided it was a good idea to talk through each of our top 3 favourite attractions at The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World as well as talking about the 3 attractions that we favour the least.

Join us for episode 16 of the Theme Park Trader podcast!
This week we kick things off by diving straight into our thoughts on the behind the scenes video of the making of Jungle Book: Alive with the Magic show at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We got quite optimistic about the show however since we recorded the show we watched the show on YouTube and were more than a little underwhelmed.
We then move onto discussing the third track opening at Toy Story Midway Mania before going into this week's rant of the week where we discuss the pains for refurbishments at theme parks and how perhaps Disney could be better at giving notice on refurbishments.
After this weeks rant we discuss the old Soarin attraction reopening for a short time at Epcot before Soarin Around the World opens before moving on to discuss a potential Muppets pizza restaurant opening at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
To end this weeks podcast we discuss the new Walking Dead attraction coming to Universal Hollywood and the confusing changes going on at Walt Disney World if you are planning to catch at bus to one of the water parks!

Join us for episode 15 of the Theme Park Trader podcast!
We begin the podcast this week by welcoming our guest and friend to the show Abbie who talks to us about her recent trip to Thorpe Park and we question her about booking her very first trip to Walt Disney World and what she is looking forward to the most. She also turns things round on Ryan and Dan to ask us questions about WDW including an explainer on the Disney Dining Plan.
Rant of the week is a fun one this week as we talk about staff/cast member attitude in the park and how it can impact your day at the parks. We compare staff here in England to Disneyland Paris as well as Florida and how attitudes differ depending on what park you are in.
Of course the podcast wouldn't be complete without the news and this week we chat Frozen Ever After opening date, Dinosaur refurbishment, new food kiosks coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Buzz Lightyear at Shanghai Disneyland + more!

We kick off the podcast this week by discussing the new look of the Incredible Hulk Coaster over at Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios Orlando before moving into a lengthy rant of the week!
This week's rant of the week has Dan and I discussing the subject of queuing, what do we hate about it and what do we like about it? We also go through our top 3 worst queues to wait in line for and our top 3 best queues to wait in line for.
Moving on from rant of the week we discuss the new footage shown off from Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland as well as Johnny Depp showing up at Disneyland to surprise guests as The Mad Hatter.
We end this weeks podcast by discussing an end to both Disney Dollars at Disneyland and Walt Disney World and an end to the Disney Infinity Game Series.

This week we kick off the podcast by discussing Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets going on sale and the costs related to each of them. We also touch on what our favourite of the two parties is.
Next we start our brand new weekly segment, rant of the week! This weeks rant is centred around ticket price increases at theme parks and we chat about why they keep increasing beyond just the price of inflation!
We then move on to talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy rumour on the gang taking over Tower of Terror at Disneyland before discussing the Frozen Games at Disney's Blizzard Beach.
We also cover off Safari of Fun Weekends at Busch Gardens, Shanghai Disney entering a six week trial run and new characters being added to Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot!

Join us for episode 12 of the Theme Park Trader podcast!
This week we start off the podcast by discussing our fondest memories of the Earffel Tower at Disney's Hollywood Studios as it was removed from the park earlier in the week. Dan and I then go onto discuss recent footage seen from Disney Town in Shanghai before discussing brand new Beauty and the Beast area coming to Tokyo Disneyland in 2020, alongside a Big Hero 6 attraction.
We also discuss the next horror house coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2016, The Exorcist and then talk about recent footage released of Rivers of Light in action at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We end the theme park news by discussing Fulton's Crab House changing name to Paddlefish and the subtle differences between the menu.
We end this weeks podcast by discussing Disney's live action film release schedule and give our impressions on each of the titles in the list and Ryan gives his spoiler-free review of Captain America: Civil War!

Join us for episode 11 of the Theme Park Trader podcast! This week as always there is is almost an endless list of things for us to cover! We kick off the podcast discussing Soarin' Around The World opening dates as well as some of the locations that will be visited on the new journey. We then move on to discuss the free dining offer at Walt Disney World that has just gone live and touch on the benefits of the Disney Dining Plan.
Dan and I then discuss Toy Story Land and our thoughts on the official attraction names and what we have seen so far. Animal Kingdom finally gets its nighttime events nailed down to a date, we talk through the opening hours and all of the additional things you can do at night!
Information on House of Blues closing at Disneyland, a next generation Avatar animatronic and Ryan's thoughts on the new Jungle Book movie are also discussed!
